Courtesy Coverage1
Alliance offers Courtesy Coverage, an overdraft program offered as a safety net for eligible Alliance Checking members.
If your balance is lower than you thought or an unexpected expense occurs, Courtesy Coverage can save you the embarrassment
of being declined and cover transactions when there are not enough funds in your checking account.
Enrollment in Courtesy Coverage is free and it costs you nothing if you do not use the service. In the event you do use
Courtesy Coverage, it costs just $29 per overdraft for peace of mind.
Please notify us if you want Courtesy Coverage for your checking accounts by either clicking the link below or calling 800.232.8669.
Other overdraft options
You can also link your checking account to an Alliance savings account, money market or line of credit to cover transactions when
you do not have sufficient funds. Please stop by a financial center or give us a call at 800.232.8669 for details about these options.
[1] Alliance Credit Union Courtesy Coverage offers optional additional coverage for everyday ATM and debit card transactions. The overdraft
fee, whether the overdraft is by check, ATM withdrawal, debit card transaction, or other electronic means, is $29 per item ($145 maximum per day).
The monthly overdraft limit is $700 including fees. Alliance Credit Union pays overdrafts at our discretion, which means we do not guarantee that we
will always authorize and pay any type of transaction. Not available for Fresh Start Checking or Business Checking accounts. You must bring your
account balance positive within each 30-day period for Courtesy Coverage to continue uninterrupted. Recurring ACH and check transactions that
exceed your balance may continue to be authorized even if you do not sign up for Courtesy Coverage.
